Plant Pure Life

September 26, 2015

It has now been two months of experiencing the plant based lifestyle.  I no longer need a cheat meal once a week (I enjoyed that sandwich at Solomon’s Porch but didn’t need it).  I have great resources for recipes and have finished both Eat & Run by Scott Jurek and Finding Ultra by Rich Roll.  I watched Cowspiracy on Netflix and I am now reading Superlife by Darin Olien.

My accountability is what goes into fueling my body.  Here is today’s accountability:

From the Ultimate Reset meal planning, steel cut oats with almond milk, maple syrup and fruit.

For lunch, an idea that I got from an article entitled, “How to love garlic without losing friends“.  It’s a bruschetta that I made with Ezekiel 4:9 bread, Veganaise, crushed and minced garlic, diced tomato, avocado and drizzled with organic extra virgin olive oil.

For dinner, a recipe from the PlantPure Nation Cookbook, the Buddha Bowl with brown rice, quinoa, steamed broccoli and dino kale, black beans, grated carrot, diced tomato, diced red bell pepper, avocado and tahini sauce.
